The Challenge
Harrington’s National Accounts team recently partnered with a major environmental systems provider to support a large-scale liquid cooling program for a data center. The customer needed a collaborative, technically capable supplier who could provide consistent material availability, fabrication support, and coordinate project performance across multiple sites. Harrington stepped in to deliver a coordinated solution that leveraged both our national footprint and the specialized strengths of J2 Resources.
The Approach
Working closely with a U.S.-based fabrication partner, Harrington supported the design and production of custom filter housings with high-flow elements. Traditionally, the fabricator sourced stainless-steel raw material from a regional supplier. Harrington’s stainless-steel inventory capability - backed by J2 Resources - created a more efficient path. By supplying the required pipe and fittings directly from our local facilities, we helped streamline procurement and supported smoother manufacturing processes.
The Response
From there, teamwork across Harrington and J2 moved the project forward quickly and accurately. Our National Accounts group collaborated with J2 to leverage shared inventory, technical expertise, and strategic sourcing to refine specifications, align costs, and meet project timelines. This unified approach provided the customer with a dependable, scalable material solution that boosted their efficiency, profitability, and ability to meet delivery dates.
