Cortrol Process Systems: Leaders in Non-Metallic Piping Solutions

control

Cortrol Process Systems, Inc. has been solving corrosion problems with non-metallics since 1979, supplying turnkey flow-control systems to chemical processing, municipal water, waste treatment, and utility process water customers across the Midwest and Gulf Coast. True to its tagline — “systems, not segments.” — Cortrol engineers complete solutions of pipe, valves, pumps, and tanks designed for chemical resistance, compatibility, and long-term reliability in punishing industrial environments. Now operating as a Harrington company, Cortrol stocks nearly every line it represents through warehouses in Tulsa, Baton Rouge, and Houston, backed by in-house design, fabrication, and field services for installation and repair.

Fiberglass pipe and tanks sit at the heart of the Cortrol portfolio. Cortrol supplies corrosion-resistant FRP piping and fittings for chemical processing, water and wastewater treatment, power generation, refining and biofuels, pulp and paper, and mining — paired with fiberglass basket strainers, dual-laminate piping, ducts, weirs, baffle plates, grating, and structural shapes. On the storage side, Cortrol offers fiberglass and polyethylene tanks and vessels engineered for chemical handling, process water, and industrial storage, in vertical and horizontal configurations sized to the application. The common thread is a non-metallic, system-level approach: every component is selected to work together, so customers get material compatibility and durability without piecing solutions together from incompatible vendors.

Those capabilities are made possible by deep manufacturer partnerships. NOV Fiber Glass Systems — an ISO 9001-certified producer of composite pipeline systems for chemical, oil and gas, marine, and fuel-handling markets — anchors Cortrol’s high-performance FRP piping line. Complementing that, Cortrol represents a broad slate of corrosion-resistant brands from Andronaco Industries, including ChemTite lined steel piping with PTFE, PFA, and specialty linings; PureFlex high-purity fluoropolymer hoses, expansion joints, and lined products; Nil-Cor composite valves engineered for severe chemical service; and Durcor, the world’s first composite pipe designed to support free-standing PTFE fluoropolymer liners. Together, these partnerships let Cortrol match the right material to the right service — fiberglass where it shines and lined or composite alternatives where chemistry demands more.
