How Did We Cut Installation Time?
The Challenge
The contractor needed a partner capable of delivering fully integrated fluid-handling systems, from cooling loops and pump assemblies to process piping and filtration, all while minimizing on-site labor and avoiding schedule delays.
Our Solution
Harrington’s team collaborated with the engineering and construction teams to design and fabricate prefabricated piping assemblies, mechanical skids, and modular pump systems in a controlled factory environment. Utilizing our nationwide network of fabrication partners and specialty companies, we also provided on-site installation support, rental tools, and pump service through our PumpMan division. Product kitting and logistics coordination ensured every component arrived tested, labeled, and installation-ready.
The Result
The offsite manufacturing approach reduced total installation time by nearly 40 percent while improving safety and quality control. All systems passed pre-shipment performance testing, allowing for a seamless startup and commissioning process. The success of this project has since led the customer to adopt Harrington’s offsite manufacturing model for future data center builds nationwide.
